The
CCCA’s mandate is to meet the ongoing needs of Canadian corrugated
manufacturers and to address all corrugated-related concerns
emanating from government, industry, competitive packaging
products and environmental issues. See also Articles, Facts and Uses.
|
| |
Membership
of the CCCA is open to any firm, division or individual in
Canada whose principal business is the manufacture of corrugated
sheets and containers and operates a corrugator.
|
| |
Associate
Membership to the CCCA is open to any company actively
involved in the corrugated box industry by way of manufacture
or supply but does not operate a corrugator. |
| |
In Canada, the
CCCA interacts with the Paper and Paperboard Packaging
Environmental Council (PPEC) of which CCCA is a founding
member. The CCCA also serves as a member on the Packaging
Association of Canada’s (PAC) National Advisory Board. |
| |
In a North American
context, the CCCA works as necessary, on issues of mutual
concern with U.S. organizations, namely: the Fibre Box
Association, the American Forest Paper Association (AF&PA)
and the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters
(AICC). |
| |
On
the international front, the CCCA is a member of the International
Corrugated Case Association (ICCA) which deals with common
issues affecting the global industry, and it liaises from
time to time with FEFCO,
whose mandate is to promote corrugated packaging for its
largely European-based membership. |
